The 2nd Novo Futuro Annual Charity Dinner took place on september 25th, bringing together more than 200 people at the Academia de Ciências de Lisboa (Lisbon Academy of Sciences).
The guests were welcomed with a cocktail at the Academy Museum, which they had the opportunity to visit, before heading to the Library, considered one of the most important in Portugal.
In the Library space, guests were able to enjoy unique musical moments, starring pianist Iddo Bar-Shai, the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra and cellist Alípio Francisco da Cruz.
The event was attended by the President of the Portuguese Republic, who gave a brief speech to the guests, before they went to the Academy cloister, where dinner was served. A solidarity auction followed, which had the support of Joaquim Monchique and with all contributions going to the Novo Futuro Association.
This event proved, once again, to be an important opportunity to promote and share Novo Futuro’s mission, as well as raise funds to achieve it, ensuring continued support for children and young people at social risk.
A very special thank you to the partner entities that made this event possible, as well as to all the guests and volunteers.
